Policies and Procedures

Media Center Hours:

8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Students wishing to come to the media center during class time must have a pass from their teacher and must sign in.. No passes are needed before and after school or during lunch.

Circulation Procedures: Checkout

Students are allowed to check out two books at a time for a period of two weeks. Books may be renewed if they are not on hold for another student. Reference books are available for use in the media center only. In order to check out a book, students must have his/her fingers scanned into the Identimetrics software.

Fines:

A fine of $.05 a day will accrue on books not returned by the due date.

Computers:

The media center has 12 computers for students to use for research and class work. All computers are Internet accessible. Before the Internet can be used, a student must have a copy of a signed Internet User Policy on file in the media center.

Other Services:

Printing and copying:

Students are able to print from the computers for a small fee of $.10 per page (black and white only).
